I used to know what I wanted to be when I got older.
But now that time is getting closer I don’t really know.
I’m either going to move to Louisville and be a cop,
Or stay in Owensboro and open my own psychology clinic.

Life is like a rollercoaster
Always going up and down
Around and round
Head bobbling up and down
Sometimes they can be fun
But other times not
Sometimes you just want to hurl
From the constant non-stop
Sometimes you drop so fast that you can’t see nor breathe
But somehow you always keep a constant speed
All the twist and turn on the coaster are what make you
And sometimes even break you
But no matter where they take you
You got to stay strong
Even if it runs you through a brick wall.

Death
Death is black and cold.
Like the winter cold nipping at your nose.
There’s nothing you can do to stop it.
Except set there and watch it.
It might get boring and old.
But I’ll be the only one not to let go.
I love you I say again and again.
Setting there with you day and day again.
Hoping to at least get a whisper again.
I know you’re tired and can’t wake up.
But Papaw it hurts to much.
Just cause I love you so much.
I don’t want you to go. I can’t loose you again.
I’m afraid if you do ill start to sin.
The pain I feel is so unreal.
My head is starting to spin, I don’t wanna cry again.
I love you and I know its your time to go.
I just wanna be there to hear your last words.
I want you to know its going to be hard without you.
So I guess this is good bye,
Wait no it’s a see you later
Cause we’ll be together in heaven someday later.
